Boating Laws
Findley Lake Specific Laws:
1. All Motorized vessels on Findley Lake shall be operated in a manner so as to travel in a COUNTERCLOCKWISE ROTATION outside the no-wake zone.
2. All swim platforms and/or rafts placed on Findley Lake shall be securely anchored no more than thirty-five (35) feet from the shoreline and shall indicate the ownership of said swim platform and/or raft through the use of reflectors attached to each of its four (4) sides.
3. The anchoring or mooring of vessels in the waters of Findley Lake when such vessels are used or occupied as living or sleeping quarters are prohibitied.

Fishing Information
Findley Lake is a year round fishing destination stocked and managed by the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation. Anglers can expect to find largemouth bass, northern pike, muskellunge, black crappie, bluegill, and pumpkinseed sunfish. The lake features a public boat launch on the east side off Route 426, making access easy for those looking to cast off by boat. Whether you're ice fishing in the winter or enjoying a summer day on the water, Findley Lake offers great opportunities for both casual and serious fishermen alike.
